Habitat: Cultivation areas. 

Seasons: May - June. 

Uses: Tea of flowers and roots used in valvular heart disease, fevers, diuretic, heart tonic, sedative, and emetic. Root ointment for burns to prevent scar tissue. 

Preparation: Tea and ointment. 

Active Chemical Ingredient: Cardenolides.
