Habitat: Fields, roadsides, and waste places. 

Seasons: June - October. 

Uses: Root tea externally as a wash for sores snakebites, and swelling. Root juice for earaches. 

Preparation: Tea. 

Active Chemical Ingredient: Chlorogenic acids.
