Habitat: Tall grass prairie and eastern deciduous forest. 

Seasons: June - September. 

Uses: Tea made from leaves and flowering tops for bronchitis, colds, diarrhea, fevers, chicken pox, colic, headaches, irregular menses, induce sleep, promote sweating, and leaves chewed for toothaches. 

Preparation: Tea. 

Active Chemical Ingredient: Nepetalactone.
